Return Policy

Effective Date: October 19th, 2025

1. Introduction

At O Croquete, we take pride in producing fresh, high‑quality Portuguese croquetes in small batches.


Due to the perishable nature of our products and food safety regulations, we have a strict return policy to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

2. No Returns

We do not accept returns of any food products once they have been delivered or collected.


This is because:

  • Our croquetes are perishable and must be consumed within 5 days of delivery.

  • UK food safety laws prohibit the resale or redistribution of returned food items.

3. No Refunds

Refunds will not be issued except in the rare case where:

  • You receive the wrong product or quantity compared to your order confirmation.

  • The product is damaged or compromised upon delivery due to our handling.

 

In such cases, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographic evidence

 

We will review your claim and, if approved, offer a replacement in the next available batch or issue a refund at our discretion.

4. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled until Friday 6pm before the scheduled Saturday fulfilment.
Cancellations after this time will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

5. Custom Orders

For custom orders or catering:

  • A deposit may be required.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable if cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the agreed fulfilment date.
